This Help Article covers:

⚠️ NOTE: This is a "Kitset" feature and will not substitute the product(s) of Kitsets that have been converted to Quote Lines or Product Quote Lines themselves.

⚠️ NOTE: There are some restrictions on Product Substitutions. I.E. If you Substitute a Product for another, you cannot Substitute another Product for the same Substitution Product nor Substitute another Product for the Product that has been Substituted.

💡 TIP: This feature can be used when you have a Supplier Quote that contains a substitute product for the product contained in your Kitsets.

Quick Flow:

1. From the Quote: XXXX Window, Press the Settings Top Tab, then the Kitset Product Substitutions Expandable Section to display the Substitutions List, then Press [EDIT] to display the Substitutions Add popup

2. From the Substitutions Add popup, Press [+ADD] to display the Substitutions Add Line

3. From the Substitutions Add Line, Enter Product Code for the "Original" and "Substitution" products, then Press [SAVE]

4. You will be told a "Reprice required" and asked "Do you want to proceed", Press [OK] to Subtutute the product

Your Product Substitution will be displayed in the Kitset Product Substitutions Expandable Section

💡 TIP: Kitsets will display a notification to indicate they contain a Substitution Product, viewing the Kitset, the Substitution Product Line(s) will display a notification that it is a Substitution Product, hover over the notification to display the Product that has been Substituted.
