General Overview:

When setting up office Staff Members with an Email Username, give them their own unique email address, avoid giving them generic email addresses such as office@ or admin@ etc, which you may want to use for another Staff Member at a later time.

Once the office Staff Member is set up, the Katipolt “Reply To Address” feature can be used to have their emails reply to email addresses such as office@ or admin@ etc. For more information on setting this feature up, see the Help Article: https://help.katipolt.com/en/articles/6027594-email-sending-replies

This way, if the office Staff Member leaves and a new office Staff Member is employed, you do not have to go through the process of removing the Email Username of the person leaving to use on the new office Staff Member.

Should an office Staff Member have been set up with a generic email address such as office@ or admin@ etc, to remove that email address so you can use the email address for another Staff Member, you will need to change the Staff Email Username. You will need to select another email address for the Email Username, one where the verification email can be received and the “Verify request” button pressed.
