General/Overview:
When adding a Booking for a Job, an email can be sent from the Booking to the Customer advising them that their Job has been booked, the time, and the date.
β οΈ NOTE: This feature is disabled for recurring bookings.
The Default email for the Booking Email is the email of the Person who is Selected as the Job Contact (if that Contact has an email entered), OR it can be manually entered at the time of sending.
To Enter/Edit Email Booking Templates
Quick Flow:
Company Settings Side Menu
Correspondence Top Tab
Email Settings Expandable Section
Booking Templates Tab
[ADD]
"New Booking Email Template" popup
Name*
Subject
Template Text*
[SAVE]
1. From the Side Menu, Press Company Settings, then Press the Correspondence Top Tab to display the Email Settings Expandable Section
2. From the Email Settings Expandable Section, Select Booking Templates, then Press [ADD] to display the "New Booking Email Template" Popup
3. From the "New Booking Email Template" Popup, Enter a:
Name* for the Template,
Subject
Template Text*
π‘ TIP: From the Insert Field dropdown, use the text options {!Booking Time} and {!Booking Date} to populate the booking times.
4. When finished [SAVE]
To Set the Default Email Booking Template
Following the entering of an Email Booking Template(s), one of the Email Booking Templates can be set as the Default.
To Set the Default Email Booking Template: Company Settings > Defaults Top Tab > Scheduling Expandable > "Default Booking Email Wording Template" Dropdown > Select the Email Booking Template > [SAVE]
To Send a Customer Booking Email
1. Add Booking to the Schedular, Press the Booking to expand, then Press the Send Email Icon to display the Email popup
2. From the Email popup, Check the To* Email Address, then either:
Check the Email Body Text,
From the Template dropdown, Select another Email Template, OR
To the body of the email, key in a Message
3. Press [SEND]
π‘ TIP: Following sending an Email from a Booking, the Email will display in the Side Menu's: More... > Correspondence > Emails List. Hover over the Email Line's "Related To" to display the Booking.
