How to add your Company Bank Account Name to an Invoice's Payment Advice Section

With current banking rules, when making payments Banks match the Payee's Account Name with the Account Number, so Customers doing Bill Payments from their Bank Account need to know your Bank Account Name.

When the Bank Account Number is entered into Katipolt it auto-populates to Sales Invoice Payment Advice Section, however the Bank Account Name needs to be entered as part of the Payment Advice Text to display.

To enter your Bank Account Name on Invoices

1. From the Company Settings > Defaults Top Tab > Invoice Expandable Section, when entering your Bank Account Number, also enter the Bank Account Name

2. From the Company Settings > Correspondence Top Tab > Document Settings Expandable Section > Sales Presets Top Tab, Select and open a Sale Preset

💡 TIP: Credit Note Presets do not need the Bank Account Name added as there is no Payment being made by the Customer.

3. From the selected Sale Preset’s Payment Advice Text* Section, Enter your Bank Account Name text, then Press the Insert field Icon and Insert option Bank Account Name into the appropriate part of the Bank Account Name text

💡 TIP: Press the [SHOW PREVIEW] of the open Sale Preset, then Select a record to preview your editing to see what it will look like on the finished document.

💡 TIP: By using the Insert field "Bank Account Name", the entry in the "Bank Account Name" field of the Defaults will auto-populate to the Sales Invoice PDF text.

4. When finished, Press [SAVE]
