General/Overview:
From time to time you may need to replace a Plan. This may be because the wrong plan has been uploaded to the Quote, or the Customer has changed the Layout of the Floor Plan.
Replacement Plans can be Added two ways:
On a Quote - The Plan is replaced on a Quote prior to the Quote being Accepted
As a Variation - The Plan is replaced as a Variation following the Quote being Accepted
When Replacing Plans, any Kitset Icons/Quote Lines/Text Boxes will remain (maybe not quite in the same locations relative to the new Plan).
Replacement Plans Added As a Variation can be Added two ways:
Replace Plan Only - Variation incurs NO Costs
Changes and Replace Plan - Variation incurs Costs
When doing a Variation "Replace Plan Only", DO NOT DELETE any Kitset Icons or Quote Lines as deleting a Kitset Icon or Quote Line, then replacing will incur a Cost, simply relocate the existing Kitset Icons or Quote Lines to suit the new plan.
Replace Plan (On a Quote)
1. From the Visbuild Window, Select the Plan to be replaced
2. Then either:
Drag & Drop the replacement Plan into the Visbuild Window, OR
From the Properties Panel, Press [REPLACE PLAN] button to display the import popup and navigate to the replacement Plan and upload
💡 TIP: The [REPLACE PLAN] button only displays on a Quote. I.E. It does not display on Variations.
3. If the Plan was Dragged & Dropped, from Visbuild's Add Plan Images Window, Press in the plans search field to display the current Plans, then Select the Plan to be replaced
⚠️ NOTE: The Selected Plan will display that it "Has existing image", this can be ignored.
4. When finished, Press [DONE] to return to the Visbuild Window with the new Plan displaying
5. Move/Add/Delete any Kitsets Icons/Quote Lines/Text Boxes as required.
Replace Plan (As a Variation)
1. Add a Variation to the Job and give the Variation a Description such as:
“Replace Plan, new floor layout only”
“Changes including new floor layout”
2. From the Visbuild Window, Select the Plan to be replaced
3. Drag & Drop the replacement Plan into the Visbuild Window
4. From Visbuild's Add Plan Images Window, Press in the plans search field to display the current Plans, then Select the Plan to be replaced
⚠️ NOTE: The Selected Plan will display that it "Has existing image", this can be ignored.
5. When finished, Press [DONE] to return to the Visbuild Window with the new Plan displaying
6. If the Variation is to be a:
Replace Plan Only - MOVE Kitsets Icons/Quote Lines/Text Boxes as required
Changes and Replace Plan - MOVE/ADD/DELETE Kitsets Icons/Quote Lines/Text Boxes as required.
