How to set the Default Pricing Rules at Company Settings

This Help Article covers:

Default Pricing Rules "look up" to, and follow Company Settings, however, are editable and can be set at each setting location they display at (I.E. Customer, Jobs, Sales Invoice, and/or Quotes/Variations).

To Set Default/Edit Customer Pricing Rules at Company Settings

Quick Flow:

  • Company Settings Side Menu

  • Defaults Top Tab

  • Customers Expandable Section

  • Pricing Rules > Select Default

  • [SAVE]

1. From the Side Menu, Press Company Settings

2.  From Company Settings, Press the Defaults Top Tab to display the Customers Expandable Section

3. From the Customers Expandable Section, Press each Pricing Rules field's Dropdown, then Select a Default Pricing Rule for that field

4. When finished [SAVE]

⚠️ NOTE: Default Fields "look up" to the "above" setting location, IE. Sales Invoice and /or Quote/Variations to the Job, Job to the Contacts (Customer), Contacts (Customer) to the Company Settings,

⚠️ NOTE: If a setting location is following the "above" setting location's selection, the selection text displays “grey”.

If a setting location has been overridden, the selection text displays “black”.

Any editing of the selection "above" will not overwrite any overridden selection(s) below.

To reset an overridden selection to follow the selection "above" again, press the “X” of the Pricing Rules field.
