This Help Article covers:

Default Pricing Rules “Look Up” to the above setting location until they find a location where the selection has been “Set” (the uppermost setting being at Company Settings). I.E. Sales Invoice and/or Quote/Variations look up to the Job, Jobs looks up to Customer, Customers looks up to Company Settings.

Once "Set" at a location other than Company Settings, this then becomes the Default for that feature at all locations below that.

If the selection text at the location is:

  • Grey - The setting at that location is “Looking Up” to the setting above, and

  • Black – The setting at that location has been “Set”

⚠️ NOTE: To Create or Edit a Pricing Rule, see the Help Article: "Pricing Rules (Add – Edit)"

⚠️ NOTE: Any setting/editing of the Pricing Rule "Above" will not overwrite any "Set" selection(s) below.

💡 TIP: The Default Pricing Rule for a feature can be overridden at the feature at the time of using. I.E. Invoicing, Quoting or adding a Variation.
