How to make a copy of a Job, or Job and first Quote

This Help Article covers;

If you are doing a Quote with different options, OR to different builders, OR doing a Quote for the same/similar installation at multiple addresses, then you can do the Quote once and Clone it, changing the Customer and/or Address during the Clone process.

⚠️ NOTE: Cloning the Job and first Quote does not copy any Variations, only the Quote.

Cloning a Quote can be done from 2 locations;

  • Job - "Clone Job and first quote"

  • Quote - "Clone"

To Clone a Job or "Clone job and first quote"

Cloning a Job or Job and first Quote is done from the Job Page of the Quote

⚠️ NOTE: Cloning the Job and first Quote can be done at any time no matter what stage the Quote is at: "Draft", "Locked" or "Accepted".

Quick Flow:

  • JOB: XXXX Page

  • More” (3 dots) menu

  • Clone job and first quote

  • Customer*

  • [CLONE]

  • Job Details

1. From the JOB: XXXX Page, Press the “More” (3 dots) menu, then Select option [Clone job and first quote] to display the Clone Job Popup

 2. From the Clone Job popup, Enter or Select a Customer from the Clone to Customer* drop-down list, then Press [CLONE] to display the new Job and Quote

   3. From the new Job, Check/Edit Job Details, then continue as required

⚠️ NOTE: On [CLONE] a new Job with a new Job Number will be created.

To "Clone" Quote

Cloning a Quote is done from the Quote Page

Quick Flow:

  • Quote: XXXX Page

  • More” (3 dots) menu

  • Clone > Customer*

  • [CLONE]

  • Job Details

1. From the Quote: XXXX Page, Press the “More” (3 dots) menu, then Select option [Clone] to display the Clone Job and this quote Popup

2. From the Clone Job and this quote popup, Enter or Select a Customer from the Clone to Customer* drop-down list, then Press [CLONE] to display the new Job and Quote
