This Help Article covers:

General/Overview:

⚠️ NOTE: It is recommended that you are familiar/proficient with Single Plan Image Uploading before attempting this.

💡 TIP: It is recommended to set up the structure of the Sections/Plans from the Visbuild Window before attaching the Multi-Page Plan Image PDF.

To Add a Multi-Page Plan Image PDF

1. From the Visbuild Window, Press the Section/Plan Selector’s Expand More Options Icon, then Select a Section to start the upload process

2. From the Selected Section, to Upload the Multi-Page Plan PDF and display the Select Pages Window, either:

  • Drag & Drop - Drag & Drop the Multi-Page Plan Image PDF into the Visbuild Window

  • UPLOAD IMAGE - From the Properties Panel, Press the [UPLOAD IMAGE] button and navigate to the Multi-Page Plan Image PDF (Can only select 1 Page)

  • UPLOAD - From the Visbuild Window's center bottom, Press the [UPLOAD] button and navigate to the Multi-Page Plan Image PDF

3. From the Select Pages Window, to Select Page(s), either: Press on the Page(s) to select OR Press on "Select all Pages", then Press [NEXT>] to display the Add Plan Images Window

4. From the Add Plan Image Window's "Plans Select" field (Top Right), Press the [X] of the default Plan to clear the default, and display the "No plans selected" text

5. From the Add Plan Images Window, Select a PDF Page from the Left side, (the Selected Page will display in the Add Plan Images Window)

6. Press the "Plans Select" field (Top Right) to display the Visbuild Plans options, then Press on a Visbuild Plan Name to associate the selected PDF Page to that Visbuild Plan

💡 TIP: As the PDF Pages are associated with a Visbuild Plan, that Visbuild Plan Name removes from the "Plans Select" field dropdown options.

7. From the Add Plan Images Window's "Import as vector" option, either:

  • Untick - To display the Edit/Clean Tools (Crop/Box/Pen), and edit the plan as required, OR

  • Tick - To hide the Edit/Clean Tools and be able to use the Symbol/Kitset Match feature once the Plan is imported

⚠️ NOTE: To use the Symbol/Kitset Match feature, Plans must be Non-Edited Vector PDF's, so you shouldn't Edit, hence hiding the Edit/Clean Tools.

8. Repeat steps 5, 6, and 7 as required to associate the PDF Pages with the Visbuild Plans

9. When finished, Press [DONE]

⚠️ NOTE: Having loaded the Plans and returned to the Visbuild Window, before you add any Kitsets, do a [SAVE] (If there is an issue with the Plans up-loaded, the [SAVE] will fail).

💡 TIP: Should you upload the wrong Plan to the wrong Section/Plan (OR the plan is changed), you will need to upload the Multi-Page Plan Image PDF into the Visbuild Window again, then Select the correct Page the associate it to the correct Plan. The Plan dropdown will display "Has existing image", ignore this as this will be the Plan you are correcting.

💡 TIP: If you have 1 PDF Page you want to associate with 2 Visbuild Plans, Press the “More” (3 dots) menu on the PDF Page, then Select Duplicate to create a second PDF Page to select and associate with another Visbuild Plan.

💡 TIP: If you forget to add a Section and/or Plan: from the Add Plan Image Window's "Plans Select" field (Top Right), Press the [+] button, to display the New Sections/Plans Popup, then Select/Key in a "Section" Name, then Key in a “Plan” Name, when finished Press [DONE].
