How to add products from the Katipolt Mobile App to a Sales Invoice

This Help Article covers;

Products from the Katipolt Mobile App can be entered either as;

  • Product "Code Known" - The Product has a Product Code and is found by entering a Product Code/Description

  • Product "Code Unknown" - The Product does not have a Code and is not found and the User enters a Description only as a reference

Products entered from the Katipolt Mobile display in the "Site/Ad Hoc Costs" Expandable Section of a Job's Sales & Costs Top Tab

Products "Code Known" also display in the Unsold Costs Expandable Section and will pull into a Sales Invoice on [Get Costs].

Products "Code Unknown" (Description only) need to be edited to converted to an Ad Hoc Product OR be assigned to a Product with a Code to display in the Unsold Costs Expandable Section so they can be pulled into a Sales Invoice on [Get Costs].

โš ๏ธ NOTE: Product added from Katipolt Mobile App through a Job's "Site/Ad-Hoc Costs" cannot be reallocated, they must be deleted from "Site/Ad-Hoc Costs", and then re-keyed into the other Job.

To Convert or Assign a Katipolt Mobile "Code Unknown" Product

From a Site Product line without a Code, Press the โ€œMoreโ€ (3 dots) menu, then Select an option; [Convert to ad hoc cost] or [Assign product]

  • Convert to ad hoc - Enter/Edit the Description then Enter a Cost Price

  • Assign product - Search/Select a Product to use

To Delete a Katipolt Mobile added Product

From the Site Product line(s), Tick the lines left tick box to select the Product, then Press [DELETE] to remove
