How to change the Labour Sell Price

This Help Article covers;

The Labour “Sell Price” of a Charge Up Sales Invoice follows the “Labour/Katipolt Staff Labour Per Hour” or "Labour/Labour Per Hour" category Rule/Value of the “Invoicing Pricing Rule” selected.

To change the "Staff Labour Per Hour" Sell Price

Staff Timesheet entries follow the Invoicing Pricing Rule’s “Labour/Katipolt Staff Labour Per Hour” Product Category and use the Staff Member’s “Pay Rate Cost*” ORPay Rate Trade*” to calculate the Labour "Sell Price".

Setting the “Labour/Katipolt Staff Labour Per Hour” Product Category Rule/Value of a Price Rule Book is done from the Company Settings > More/Pricing Rules Top Tab.

Setting a Staff Member’s “Pay Rate Cost*” and/or “Pay Rate Trade*” is done from the Staff Member's Profile Page. Below example displays $55.13 and $65.00.

To change the "Labour Per Hour" Sell Price

Labour Products follow the Invoicing Pricing Rule’s “Labour/Labour Per Hour” Product Category and use Labour Products entered "Cost Price*" OR "Trade Price*"

Setting the “Labour/Labour Per Hour” Product Category Rule/Value of a Price Rule Book is done from the Company Settings > More/Pricing Rules Top Tab.

Setting a Labour Product’s “Cost Price*” and/or “Trade Price*” is done from the Labour Products page.

⚠️ NOTE: The “Labour/Katipolt Staff Labour Per Hour” and "Labour/Labour Per Hour" Product Categories also allow you to select Rule = "Fixed" and Value = "$ Value", when this is entered the Sell Price for that Pricing Rule of Labour will follow the entered "$ Value".

💡 TIP: The “Labour/Katipolt Staff Labour Per Hour” and "Labour/Labour Per Hour" Product Category Rule/Values can be set differently for each Price Rule Book.

💡 TIP: If a "Sell Price" is not displaying the value you want, check the “Labour/Katipolt Staff Labour Per Hour” or “Labour/Labour Per Hour” Product Category Rule/Value for the selected Invoicing Pricing Rule. If this looks right, then check the “Pay Rate Cost*”/"Pay Rate Trade*" and/or “Cost Price*”/"Trade Price*" for the Staff Member or Labour Product displaying the wrong value(s).

💡 TIP: The "Sell Price" of Staff Member(s) can be set up as a "Fixed Price" for a Job, a Customer, or All Customers, see the Help Article: Sales – Product Fixed Pricing (Add – Edit - Delete)
