Katipolt Users can use any of three methods of authentication when logging in:

This Help Article deals with creating a Microsoft Account to use for authentication

⚠️ NOTE: The Username is the email address entered into the Email* field on the Staff Profile of the User.

This Help Article assumes the Account User has been entered in as a Staff Member and has been given Access Level "Katipolt and Katipolt Mobile" that allows them access to Katipolt Desktop. For more information on Access Levels see the Help Article: "Staff Access Level Desktop (Allow - Remove)"

⚠️ NOTE: If you don't already have Google Chrome installed, we recommend downloading and using Google Chrome, as Katipolt is built for, and tested using Google Chrome, I.E. Not using Google Chrome, you may experience unusual Katipolt behavior.

The Katipolt Log In page can be found at: app.katipolt.com

1. Enter app.katipolt.com into your browser then when the Sign in to your account Page displays, Press Continue with Microsoft to display the Sign-in Page

2. From the Sign in Page, Press No account? Create one!, then follow the Microsoft prompts to create a Microsoft Account for your Email Username

Following creating a Katipolt Microsoft Account, to log in:

1. From the Sign in to your account Page, Press Continue with Microsoft to display the Sign in Page

2. From the Sign in Page, Enter your Username (the email address entered into the Email* field of your Staff Profile Window) and Press [Next]

3. Then follow the Microsoft prompts to log in

1. From the Enter password Page, Press Forgot password?, then follow the Microsoft prompts

⚠️ NOTE: Resetting your Microsoft Account password on the Katipolt Desktop will also change the Password you use to access the Katipolt Mobile App using the Microsoft Account.
