General/Overview:
There are 2 ways of making the Quote and/or Plans available to use:
Download - Quotes and/or Plans downloads to an "External" place
Save xxxx - Quotes and/or Plans are Saved to an "Internal" place, Katipolt Files, where they can be shared to the Katipolt Mobile App or be available for attaching to Katipolt Desktop emails.
Downloaded OR Saved Quotes and/or Plans are rendered as PDFs.
To Download Quote and/or Plans (Externally)
Downloading the Quote and/or Plans is done from the Quote's Preview pane.
1. Press the Quote's [PREVIEW & SEND] button to launch the Quote Preview pane
💡 TIP: Use the Quote Preview Settings panel to generate the document as you want to view and download it.
💡 TIP: To download Plans only, toggle all "Pages" "off" other than the "Plans Page"
2. From the Quote Preview pane, Press the Download Icon to display the options, then Press the Download Option
Download as PDF - Downloads to your computer and can be used externally to Katipolt
To Save Quote and/or Plans (Internally)
Saving the Quote and/or Plans is done from the Quote's Preview pane.
1. Press the Quote's [PREVIEW & SEND] button to launch the Quote Preview pane
💡 TIP: Use the Quote Preview Settings panel to generate the document as you want to view and Save it.
2. From the Quote Preview pane, Press the Download Icon to display the options, then Press a Save Option
Save PDF to files - Downloads the Quote to Files of the Quote which then can be used internally in Katipolt
Save site file - Downloads the Quote to Files of the Job (with Site File ticked), (less financial information) which then can be used internally in Katipolt
Save plans - Downloads the Plan(s) only to Files of the Job (with Site File ticked) which then can be used internally in Katipolt
💡 TIP: When selecting "Save PDF to files", if you tick "Site File" of the New File popup the downloaded Quote and/or Plans will be available for Site Staff to view on the Job from the Katipolt Mobile App (without financial information)
