This Help Article covers;

A Kitset Icon Image can be uploaded directly into a cloned/edited Kitset for that Kitset OR uploaded at Company Settings and be available for selection from the “Icon” field dropdown when adding or editing future Kitsets.

💡 TIP: Icon sizing can be scaled down on import, so make your Icon image larger than you want.

💡 TIP: Adopting a standard size when creating images allows for better consistency between Kitset Icon sizes when scaling.

💡 TIP: A Library of your Custom Kitset Icons displays as a List at Company Settings > More Top Tab > Kitset Icons Top Tab.

To Create a Kitset Icon Image

Creating a Kitset Icon Image can be done in 3 ways:

Creating the image,
Editing existing Katipolt image, and
Snipping an existing image

Create the image;

Using a graphic editor, Create an image and save it to a location where you can access it and upload it.

Edit existing Katipolt image;

From the Quote Overview Page highlight the Kitset Icon Image
Right-click on the Kitset Icon Image and select “Save image as…” saving to a place where you can find it.
Using a graphic editor (such as MS Paint or similar), Edit as required then save to a location where you can access it and upload it.

Snip an existing image

Using a snipping tool, snip and Save the snipped image to a location where you can access it and upload it.

To Upload a Kitset Icon Image to a Kitset

1. From a Kitset Detail Page, if a cloned Kitset, hover over the Icon* field to display the "Bin", then Delete the existing Kitset Icon OR if a new Kitset, go to step 2.

2. From the Icon* field, Press the [+] button to launch the Kitset Icon Uploader

3. From the Kitset Icon Uploader, either Press [CLICK TO ADD IMAGE] and navigate to the Kitset Icon Image and select, OR Drag & Drop the Kitset Icon Image into the “drop image here” box

4. From the Kitset Icon popup, give the Kitset Icon Image a “Name”, then use the Scale slider to “Scale” the Kitset Icon Image to the size relationship you want it to have with other Kitset Icons

5. Press [SAVE]

To Upload a Kitset Icon Image to Company Settings

1. From the Side Menu, Press Company Settings

2. From Company Settings, Press the More Top Tab then Select Kitset Icons to display the Kitset Icons Top Tab

3. From the Kitset Icons Top Tab, Press the [+ADD] button to display the Kitset Icon import popup, then Press [CLICK TO ADD IMAGE] and navigate to the Kitset Icon Image and select, OR Drag & Drop the Kitset Icon Image into the “drop image here” box

5. Press [SAVE]
