This Help Article covers;
Katipolt Users can use any of 3 methods of authentication when logging in:
Katipolt Account,
Google Account, and
Microsoft Account
The Katipolt Account uses a Katipolt internal authentication, so resetting the Password is a Katipolt internal function
The Google Account and Microsoft Account use Google and Microsoft authentication, so resetting the Password is a Google or Microsoft external function
⚠️ NOTE: If you are also a Katipolt Desktop User, resetting your password on the Katipolt Mobile App will also change the Password you use to access Katipolt Desktop.
To Reset your Password for a Katipolt Account
1. From the Katipolt Mobile App's Enter password screen, Press Forgot your password?, to display the Reset password screen
2. From the Reset password screen, check the Email address (Username) and Press [Continue] to display the Verify your email screen and send a verification email to your Email address (Username)
3. From the Verify your email screen, Enter the emailed Verification Code to display the Set password screen
4. From the Set password screen, Enter your chosen Password, then Press [Save password] to be logged in to the Katipolt Mobile App
To Reset your Password for a Google Account
1. From the Katipolt Mobile App's Enter your password screen, Press Forgot password?, and follow Google's Prompts
To Reset your Password for a Microsoft Account
1. From the Katipolt Mobile App's Enter password screen, Press Forgot password?, then follow Microsoft's Prompts
