How to enter or change a Job Address including using Lot Numbers

If the Customer has been set up using a Default Job Site/Address, this will populate the Job's Job Site/Address field, however, sometimes the Job Site/Address needs to be changed OR the Customer has not been set up with a Default Job Site/Address, and the Job Site/Address needs to be added for each Job.

💡 TIP: An example of the Customer not being set up with a Default Job Site/Address is where the Customer's work is carried out at multiple properties (a builder or property management company), and the Job Site/Address is selected at the time of adding the Job.

There are three ways to enter a Job's Job Site/Address:

  • Search - Searches NZ Post’s “Address & postcode finder” database

  • Manually Enter - Manually enter the Address

  • Select Location - Select from the Customer's pre-added Locations

💡 TIP: Sometimes when searching, the Address is not found, or on new developments, Sites have Lot Numbers and Addresses have not been entered into NZ Post’s “Address & postcode finder” database. When this happens, Manually Enter the Lot Number and Development Address details.

Search to Add Job Site/Address

1. From a Job Window’s "Job Site/Address" field, Press the Open address details Icon to launch the "Job Site/Address" Popup

2. From the "Job Site/Address" Popup, Key in Address to the Job Site/Address Finder to display a list of options, then select an option

3. When finished, Press [CLOSE]

Manually Enter to Add Job Site/Address

1. From a Job’s "Job Site/Address" field, Press the Open address details Icon to launch the "Job Site/Address" Popup

2. Do not use the Job Site/Address Finder but Key in the Lot Number and Development Address details directly to the fields of the "Job Site/Address" Popup

3. When finished, Press [CLOSE]

Select Location to Add a Job Site/Address

For a Location to be available for selection, it must have been Added to the Customer OR Saved as a Location when Adding or Editing the Job Site/Address. For more information on adding a Job Location, see the Help Article “Accounts – Customer Job Locations (Add-Edit)”

1. From a Job’s "Job Site/Address" field, Press anywhere in the Job Site/Address field to display the More Options Dropdown Icon (Don't press the Open address details Icon)

2. From a Job’s "Job Site/Address" field, Press the More Options Dropdown Icon to display a List of entered Job Locations, then Select a Site/Address
