General/Overview:
The Quote PDF Sections and Layers follow the order of the Quote. Reordering Sections and/or Layers of a Quote allows you to have them display how you want on the Quote PDF.
⚠️ NOTE: Visbuild Sections with Multiple Plans roll up costs as Totals on that Quote Section, you will not see the individual Plan cost breakdowns on the Quote nor Quote PDF. If you want to see the individual Plan cost breakdowns, you need to upload each individual Plan to a separate Visbuild Section.
The Quote PDF Lines follow the order of the Section or Layer. Reordering the Quote Lines of a Section and/or Layer allows you to have them display how you want on the Quote PDF.
The Quote Preview will display:
Format by section - the Quote Details in the order of the Quote Sections
Format by layer – the Quote Layers for each Section in the order of the Visbuild Layers
Include plans - the Plans in the order of the Quote Sections
Split plan by layer - the Plans for each Section Layer in the order of the Visbuild Layers
⚠️ NOTE: Visbuild Sections with Multiple Plans will display those Plans under that Section. Plans display in the order of the Plans of that Visbuild Section.
To Reorder Manual and Plan Sections (Quote Side)
Reordering Sections for both Manual Sections and Plan Sections can only be done from the Quote.
⚠️ NOTE: Reordering Visbuild Sections on the Quote reorders the Sections display in Visbuild.
1. From the Quote, Hover over the left of a Section to display the Drag Handle Icon, then Press & Hold the Quote Section Drag Handle Icon to Drag & Drop to the required position
2. When finished, Press [SAVE]
To Reorder Quote Lines (Quote Side)
1. From the Quote, Hover over the left of a Quote Line to display the Drag Handle Icon, then Press & Hold the Quote Line Drag Handle Icon to Drag & Drop to the required position
2. When finished, Press [SAVE]
To Reorder the Multi Plans of a Plan Section (Visbuild Side)
Reordering Plans of a Visbuild Section can only be done from Visbuild.
1. From the Visbuild Window, Press the Section/Plan Selector’s Expand More Options Icon, then Press on the “Pencil” of the Section to have the Plans recorded
2. From the Edit Section popup, Press & Hold the Plan Reorder Icon to Drag & Drop to the required position
3. When finished, Press [DONE]
To Reorder Section Layers (Visbuild Side)
Reordering Layers of a Quote’s Visbuild Section(s) can only be done from Visbuild.
⚠️ NOTE: Reordering the Layers of a Visbuild Section reorders the Layers of all Visbuild Sections to that order.
Following the Adding of a second Layer, the “Reorder layers” option displays in the “More” (3 dots) menu.
1. From the Visbuild Window, Press on the Layer Selector's “More” (3 dots) menu to display the options, then select "Reorder layers" to display the Reorder Layers popup
2. From the Reorder Layers popup, Press & Hold the Layer Reorder Icon to Drag & Drop to the required position
3. When finished, Press [DONE]
