How to add or edit a Quote Line on a Manual or Plan Section

This Help Article covers;

A Quote Line can be a Product Line or Multi Product Lines.

Quote Lines are “this Quote only” and cannot be searched and pulled into other Quotes.

To Add a Product Quote Line to a Manual Section (Quote Side)

Single Product;

1. From a Quote's Manual Section;

  • Enter a Product Code (or part of) into the "Search kitsets/products..." field to find and select the Product

  • Enter a Qty, then Press Enter

  • From the Quote Line, work across editing as needed the Price and/or Qty

Multiple Products;

1. From a Quote's Manual Section, either Enter a Single Product OR Ad Hoc Line to create a Quote Line.

OR

2. From the Quote Line, Press the “More” (3 dots) menu, then select "View/Edit Quote Line" to display the Quote Line popup

3. From the Quote Line popup, Enter a Quote Line;

  • Name*, and

  • Description

4. Then Search and Add Products as required

5. When finished, Press [DONE] to save

To Add a Quote Line to a Plan Section (Visbuild Side)

Single Product;

1. From Tools & Options Selector, Press the “Quote line (Q)” Tool’s Expand More Options Icon, then Press on the Main Window to display the Quote Line popup.

2. From the Quote Line popup, Enter a Quote Line;

  • Name*, and

  • Description

3. From the Products Section of the Quote Line popup, to add a product: key a Product Code into the "Enter Product code” field, then Press the keyboard's Enter key to display the Product, then edit "Qty" as required

Multiple Products;

4. If needed, repeat Step 3 to enter more Products

5. When finished, Press [DONE] to save

⚠️ NOTE: Visbuild Quote Lines display on the Plan Section/Image as a red border text box, and on the Quote as a line less the “Code” and “Kitset Icon”.
