General/Overview:
⚠️ NOTE: Quotes/Estimates are added from a Job, I.E. the Job must have been added first. For more information on adding a Job, see the Help Article: "Jobs (Add - Edit)"
Quotes and Estimates are displayed in the Quotes List of the Side Menu's Quotes and the Quotes Top Tab of a Job Window.
Quotes can be built using Manual Sections (Quote Side), Plan Sections (Visbuild Side), or a combination of both.
💡 TIP: The Icon on the left of a Quote's Section tells you if a Section is a Manual Section (Quote Side) or Plan Section (Visbuild Side).
To Enable a User to Add or Edit a Quote
For a User to be able to Add or Edit a Quote they need to be enabled on the Katipolt Desktop side. To do this they need to be added to a Katipolt Role with permission “Add/Edit Quotes” toggled to "On".
Company Settings > Staff Top Tab > Roles Expandable Section > Select a Role that displays Katipolt “Add/Edit Quotes” toggled to "On" OR from a Role toggle it to "On" > then select the person from the “Assigned To” dropdown to add
⚠️ NOTE: Toggling "Add/Edit Quotes" to "On" also toggles "View Quotes" to "On". You can Toggle just "View Quotes" to "On" which allows a User to View Quotes, but not Add or Edit a Quote.
💡 TIP: Toggling "View Quotes" to "Off" hides the Dashboard Key Information Chart or Tiles related to Quotes.
