This Help Article covers;

💡 TIP: Before using Polylines, choose the "Type" of line you want to use for your Polyline. Select from the "Options" of the Line (L) Tools Expand More Options dropdown.

1. From Tools & Options Selector, Press the “Line (L)" Tool’s Expand More Options Icon, then Select “Polyline"

2. On the Plan, Left Click & Drag then Release to create the first line, then Drag and Left Click on Plan to create the Second line and so on, changing direction as required.

3. To end the line, following the final Left Click, do a Right Click

💡 TIP: Pressing the Keboard's "P" key resets the Pointer Tool releasing the Polyline Tool.

Press on the Scaling Tool Expand More Options Icon and select “Capture Scale”

On the Plan, select a point, Left Click, Hold & Drag to a known point then Drop, then Enter the Measurement and [CONFIRM CAPTURE]

💡 TIP: Zooming in on the Plan when Capturing the Scale will return a more accurate measure OR following the capture, select "Edit scale" of Capture Scale to supper zoom in to re-capture, then [CONFIRM CAPTURE] to reset.

⚠️ NOTE: Following the capturing of the Scale, the Ruler will display on the Tools & Options Selector, allowing the option to select Distance or Area.

Press on the Ruler Expand More Options Icon and select “Distance” OR “Area”, then Left Click, Hold & Drag to a known point,

If Distance is selected, the Distance measurement will be displayed at the midpoint of the Line, OR

If Area is selected, the Area measurement will be displayed in the middle of the Area

⚠️ NOTE: When using the Measuring Tools, on releasing the "Hold", the measure will cease to display.

💡 TIP: Right-clicking on the plan displays an option for quick access to Measure Distance/Area.

From the Line Tool, Select Polyline, then create your Polylines

The Total Distance of the Polylines will display in the Properties Panel as the Measurement

Tick “Show on plan” to display the individual Distance measurement of each line at the line's midpoint

💡 TIP: Display measurements on individual Lines by highlighting the Line, then tick "Show on Plan" to display the measurement on that line.

💡 TIP: To curve a Line, Double click on the Line, then grab the center point and drag.
