General/Overview:
The Bill of Materials (BOM) displays a list of ALL Products (Labour, Materials and Other) used to build the Quote and/or Variation(s).
The Bill of Materials (BOM) can be displayed and viewed from two Locations, from the:
Quote or Variation - Displays the BOM for that Quote, or that Variation
Job - Displays the BOM for that Job's Quote and any "Accepted" Variation(s)
The Bill of Materials (BOM) can be displayed as:
Consolidated –Products of the Quote and/or Variation(s) as one List, Grouped by Product Category
Summary –Products of the Quote and/or Variation(s) as a List for each Quote Section, Grouped by Product Category
To View the BOM of a Quote OR Variation
Viewing a BOM for a Quote OR Variation is done from that Quote or that Variation Window.

"More" (3 dots) menu > “View BOM” Option
Select Display View
1. From the Quote OR Variation Window, Press the "More" (3 dots) menu and Select the option “View BOM” to launch a new tab and display the “BOM for Quote XXXX” Window OR “BOM for Variation XXXX” Window

To View the BOM of a Quote AND Accepted Variation(s)
Viewing a BOM for a Quote AND its Accepted Variation(s) is done from the Quote/Variation’s Job Window.
⚠️ NOTE: Until a Variation is Accepted, its Products are not included in a BOM viewed from the Job. To view the Products of an Unaccepted Variation, the BOM must be viewed from that Variation.

Select Display View
1. From the Quote/Variation’s Job Window, Press the "More" (3 dots) menu and Select the option “View BOM” to launch a new tab and display the “BOM for Job XXXX” Window
💡 TIP: The BOM for Quote AND Accepted Variation(s) is an aggregated list for the Product(s). I.E. does not display a breakdown of the Products for the Quote or individual Variation(s). If you want to see the Products/Product Qtys of the Quote or an individual Variation, view the BOM from that Quote or Variation.
2 Select the Display View
To Export the BOM
1. From the “BOM for Quote/Variation XXXX” Window OR “BOM for Job XXXX” Window, Press the [EXPORT] button, then Select an Export option:
Export to CSV (.csv), or
Export to Excel (.xlsx)
2. From the Export to CSV/Excel Popup, Tick/Untick options to Select the format of the Download:
Show Costs – (Unticked/Ticked) Does Not /Does Display the Product’s Cost Price at today’s pricing
Show Grouping – (Unticked) – Products of the Quote/Variation(s) as one List, Grouped by Product Category
Show Grouping – (Ticked) – Products of the Quote/Variation(s) as a List for each Quote Section, Grouped by Product Category
⚠️ NOTE: All Costs shown in the BOM are displayed based on today's pricing.
💡 TIP: When Exporting from the Job, and there are Variations, Ticking "Show Grouping" displays Variation Products Listed under the Quote Section they pertain to.
3. Press Export to download the Bill of Materials (BOM) File
💡 TIP: The downloaded BOM can then be formatted to suit and sent to a Supplier to get Supplier Special Pricing for the Quote.
