This Help Article covers;
Document Presets allows you to create multiple preset layouts and wording content for documents
Document Presets allows you to select the display settings of how your document will display in the Preview Window (Print Preview)
A Document Preset is set up as the default, the others being available for selection at the document to suit the current requirements
Document Presets "look up" to, and follow Company Settings, however, are editable and can be set at each setting location they display at I.E. Customer/Supplier, Quotes, Sales, and/or Orders.
"Wording Templates" can be set up for quick use to populate the Document Preset wording
⚠️ NOTE: Document wording within braces text fields ” { } ” is used to pull system text into the wording, it is recommended not to delete or change (I.E. a Quote’s Name, Date etc).
To Create a Document Preset
Quick Flow:

1. From the Side Menu, Press Company Settings
2. From Company Settings, Press the Correspondence Top Tab to display the Document Settings Expandable Section
3. From the Document Settings Expandable Section, Press a Preset Top Tab to select a document “Type” (Quote Presets, Sale Presets or Order Presets), then Press the [ADD PRESET] to display the "New XXXX Preset" popup
⚠️ NOTE: The Common Settings Tab is where your Document Footer can be entered which will display at the bottom of all your documents.
4. From the “New XXXX Preset” popup,
Give the Preset a Name
Select an Item Type* (This is the document Type where the Preset will display for selection)
5. Press on a Document Section expander to expand, then either;
Enter text in the Text field,
Press the “More” (3 dots) menu to select text from “Template options”,
Press the “Jigsaw “ Icon to insert preset braces fields ” { } ” used to pull system text into the wording
💡 TIP: Use the Document Section Expander’s left toggle to toggle on/off the Section displaying on the document OR grab the Section’s right grab handle to drag the Section up/down to change its display position on the document.
6 When finished, Press [SAVE]
To Add a Custom Page to a Document Preset
From the bottom of the “New XXXX Preset” popup, Press the [+ADD] button to add a “Custom Page” Section to the document
On the Custom Page, you can toggle on/off "Show Company Logo" and/or give the Custom Page a Header “Name”
💡 TIP: You can Drag the Custom Page Expandable Section to the top of your Document Preset and use it as your document’s Opening Page.
To Select the Display Settings of a Document Preset (Print Preview)
Work through each Document Preset Expandable Section, Ticking/Unticking the Preview tick boxes to suit the display you want as the default
💡 TIP: The Document Preset display can be edited and saved at the document’s Preview Window when viewing the final document.
To Create a Wording Template
Wording Templates is a place to create and store standard wording templates to insert into Document Presets when using the Document Preset's Template Options.
1. From the Document Settings Expandable Section, Press a Document Top Tab to select a document “Type”, then Press the [WORDING TEMPLATES] to display the “Wording Templates” popup
2. From the “Wording Templates” popup, Press [+ADD] to display the New XXXX Wording popup
3. From the "New XXXX Wording" popup;
Give the Template a Name
Enter Template Text
4. When finished, Press [SAVE]
💡 TIP: Existing Wording Templates can be edited by Pressing the More (3 dots) button of the Wording Template line.
To Set the Document Preset Defaults
The Document Preset Default for Quotes, Orders, or Invoices can be set at Company Settings, Customer/Supplier or at the Document, For more information see the appropriate Help Article
To Create a Document Preset at Contact
From the Customer Window, Press the Settings Top Tab to display the Document Settings Expandable Section
From the Document Settings Expandable Section, follow the instruction above “To Create a Document Preset”
💡 TIP: From the Customer's Settings Invoice or Quotes Expandable Section, you can override the Default Presets for that Customer only.
To Customise or Change a Document Preset at the Document
To Customise the Preset for this Document
From the Document Preview Window, Press the Settings cog to display the Settings popup, then Edit the wording and/or tick/untick the display tickboxes as required
💡 TIP: If the Document has been Edited at the Preview for this Document, the Document Preset dropdown field will display "Custom".
To Change an existing Preset
From the Document Preview Window, Press the Document Preset dropdown and Select the required Document Preset wording
⚠️ NOTE: If there are NO Document Presets available for the "Type" of Document, OR the Preset has not been Customised, the Document Preset dropdown will not display.
⚠️ NOTE: If there ARE Document Presets available for the "Type" of Document, OR the Preset has not been Customised, the Document Preset dropdown will display available Presets and the location they were set, I.E. Document Type: Quote, Invoice or Order, Customer, Company Settings.
