General/Overview:
The Mobile App Map provides an overview of where Vehicles, Staff, and Bookings are.
The Katipolt Map can display where Vehicles are at the time of looking at the map.
⚠️ NOTE: Vehicle geographical location will only display if you have an EROAD Account and a Katipolt/EROAD API Connection.
The Katipolt Map can display where Staff Members were when they last opened their Katipolt Mobile App.
The Katipolt Map can display where Bookings are for "today".
⚠️ NOTE: Booking locations will only display if the Address is a current valid Address in the NZ Post database.
To Enable a User to Launch the Map
For a User to be able to Launch the Map they need to be enabled on the Katipolt Desktop side. To do this they need to be added to a Katipolt Mobile Role with permission “View All Map Resources” toggled "On".
Company Settings > Staff Top Tab > Roles Expandable Section > Select a Role that displays Katipolt Mobile “View All Map Resources” toggled "On" OR from a Role toggle it "On" > then select the person from the “Assigned To” dropdown to add.
To Launch the Map
The Katipolt Mobile App Map is located in the Mobiles App's Menu options, Map Sub-Options.
Map Tools & Options
Markers
Tap on a Staff, Vehicle or Booking Marker to launch the Marker Card and see more detail
Marker Button
Tap the Marker button to display a Marker Lists for the Marker Types; Vehicles, Staff and Bookings
💡 TIP: From the Marker Lists the Marker "Type" can be toggled "On"/"Off" to Show/Not Show on the Map.
My Location button
Tap the My Location button to zoom in on your current location (where you opened the Katipolt Mobile App).
