How to re-use a Staff Member Email Username on another Staff Member

This Help Article covers:

Staff Member Email Usernames are unique and can only be used for one Staff Member of a Katipolt Account at any time. Trying to use a currently assigned Email Username for another Staff Member will result in being unable to save the Email Username for that Staff Member, and a banner or error message displaying: "The email provided is already in use"

OR

To reuse the Email Username, the email needs to be first removed from the Staff Member currently using it as their Email Username.

To Remove the Email Username of a Current User

This action requires the current User's Email Username to be changed, and that change verified. For more information on changing an Email Username, see the Help Article "Staff - Change Email Username"

Once removed from the current Staff Member, the Email Username can be used for assigning to another Staff Member, either as a:

  • New Staff Member, or

  • Current Staff Member
