How to find your way around Katipolt Mobile App

This Help Article covers;

The Katipolt Mobile App is a useful tool for Staff Members to see their day's Schedule (Bookings). They can view the details of a Job, record any Time and/or Materials used to carry out the work, and add Comments or Notes regarding the Job.

⚠️ NOTE: Not all features are available by default to the Katipolt Mobile App Users and Users may need to be assigned to a Role that has the feature "enabled" to access and use.

Features that are not in the default view for the Katipolt Mobile App Users;

  • Add Product

  • Create Job

  • Change Job Stages

  • Create Customer

  • View Schedule

  • Add Form

⚠️ NOTE: This article assumes the Staff Member has already created an account and can log in. If not see the related Help Article: Katipolt Mobile - Create or log in using Katipolt Account (Mobile App)

Entries Screen (Today's Bookings)

Your normal landing Screen. Displays a list of your Bookings for the selected day and any Time entries you have made that day

Entries Icons

  • Tap on a Booking to open and view the Job Details Screen

  • Tap on a Timesheet entry to open and view the Edit Timesheet Screen for that time entry

  • Tap the Red [+] Plus button to Add Timesheet Time

Schedule Screen

Displays the Booking Schedule for you and other Staff Members (Enabled feature).

  • Tap on a User Icon to see their name

  • Tap on a Booking to see the Job Card and details

Jobs Screen (Jobs List)

Displays a list of all Jobs

  • Tap on a Job to open and view the Job Details Screen

  • Tap on [Owner: Xxx] or [Stage: Xxx] to filter jobs by Owner or Stage

  • Tap the Red [+] Plus button to Add a New Job (Enabled feature)

  • Tap on the Customer Name to view the Customer's contact details

  • Tap on a Contact Person to view the person's contact details

⚠️ NOTE: Jobs continue to display on the Job Screen for a period of 1 month following being marked "Completed" or "Archive", this is in case a return is needed due to any in-completed work raised by the Customer.

💡 TIP: From the New Job Screen, a User can Add a New Contact (Customer) (Enabled feature)

Summary Screen

Displays your Time entries and Total Hours for the current Pay Period

  • Tap the Red [+] Plus button to Add Timesheet Time

Notifications Screen

Displays a history of your notifications (a red dot displays on the "Bell" when there is a new notification)

⚠️ NOTE: Notifications are only sent for "Jobs that are booked today for today” OR “Jobs for today and are rescheduled”. You will not get a notification or reminders for a Job tomorrow that is booked today, so check your day's Bookings each morning.

💡 TIP: Press the More (3 dots) menu of the Notifications Screen, then Press "Test push notification" to confirm your Katipolt notifications are working, if not you may need to check your phone's notification settings.

  • Details Top Tab

Job Screen Details Top Tab Buttons;

  • Add Timesheet - This allows the User to Add Time to the Job

  • Add Product - Allows the User to Add Product(s) to the Job (Enabled feature)

  • Add Comment - View or Add Comments or Notes

  • Navigate - Launches map of/to the Job Location

Job Screen Details Side Menu;

  • Contacts - See the Customer's Contacts

  • Site Visits - View All, see all the Site Visits to enter Time/Materials

  • Bookings - View All, see who else is on the Job (Tap on a User Icon to see their name)

  • Discussions - View All, see or Add a Comment or Note

  • Timesheets - View All, view your Timesheets for this Job

  • Products - View All, view Products allocated to this Job

Job Screen Files Top Tab;

  • View Files added from Katipolt Desktop (I.E. Site Plan)

  • Add Files - Tap the Red [+] Plus button to Add Files (Photos/Videos or documents from your mobile device)

  • Add CoC/ESCs (Needs Practicing Licence details entered Katipolt Desktop side)

  • View CoC/ESCs

  • Send CoC/ESCs

  • View, complete Forms

  • Add Forms (Enabled feature) - Tap the Red [+] Plus button to Add Forms

Menu/Sign Out

  • Alternative Navigation

  • View or Make Leave requests - Tap Leave to View Leave Requests, Tap the Red [+] Plus button on the Leave Request Screen to make a Leave Request
